UNESCO announces annual award for investigative journalism |

 UNESCO Dhaka announces an annual journalism award to be given away from 2008 in commemoration of the World Press Freedom Day observed on 3rd May all over the world. The award worth Tk 50,000 (Fifty thousand taka) is for the best investigative report published or telecast in any Bangladeshi media between 1st of January 2007 and 31st of December 2007. A reporter can send only one report. No “series report” will be considered. The original printed version of the story should be accompanied by a computer composed version of the same. For electronic media the entry should be in CD format along with a printed copy of the script. Full name of the reporter, the organisation he/she works for and contact details should be sent along with the entry.
All entries should reach UNESCO Dhaka office before 15th April 2008 at: UNESCO Dhaka Office

Banani, Dhaka 1213. Entries should be in an envelop with the words UNESCO Journalism Award written at the top. Hand delivery is strongly discouraged.
