At national level, the government organized the celebration ceremony for the day with the Prime Minister. UNESCO Dhaka supported this initiative with providing 50,000 posters designed by the government. At the divisional level, 4 NGOs celebrated the day with events like divisional meetings on literacy, reading/writing/drawing competitions, and students' speeches.
