Bangla Short Stories for neo-Literates8 stories were selected from all 30 fiction stories written after writer's workshop mentioned above. 8 stories in 2 books were edited and illustrations were added for printing. 4 cultural heritage sites are selected, which are Lalbag Fort, Buddha Biharh, Mahasthangarh and Kantajee Temple . About those 4 sites, histories and locations are adequately studied and stories about those sites were written.
This activity follows the workshop in Reading for All to promote reading habits of neo literates. 4 easy reading books on cultural heritages were printed and distributed at International Literacy Day, Sept 2005. Producing books with interesting contents is under initiative of Reading for All and will be continued to 2006 and 2007.
