The UNESCO Dhaka Office Library Information and Documentation Centre provide reference and information services, including online searches, to the Students, Professionals, as well as to the general public with an interest in UNESCO's and other UN Organizations.

Resource CentreUNESCO Dhaka office Library, Information and Documentation Service is playing an important role in the dissemination of UNESCO's programmes, activities and publications. It provides relevant information and documentation through print and electronic media to respond to the information needs of the working partners like NGOs, Universities, government and non-government organizations and many individual researchers. It is also helping many other University libraries around the county to enrich their collection by providing them with UNESCO publications.
 

It regularly provides information support to the county programmes of other UN and international development agencies through sharing, exchanging and by disseminating publication and of information materials.

Resource CentreIts library is also used as a reference work centre for many UN staffs as well as by the university students and professionals interested in UNESCO's and other UN Organizations. We also receive inquires related to general information material on the programme on UNESCO and Dhaka office, UNESCO Publications, UNESCO Cd-Roms, UNESCO conventions, UNESCO periodical etc.

The objective of the information and documentation centre is to make people better understand the activities of UNESCO's programmes round the world by providing them with up to date publications and information materials.
